To save on my pasture I have been putting my horses in the dry lot/barn at night. I have three small pastures. The one they have been in this week goes from behind the barn around the back of the house and down the east side to the front. Every morning when I have let them out they have run around the house and down to the front. They have been going so fast that I haven't been able to get in front of them to get some video.
This time they waited behind the barn just long enough for me to get ahead of them and shoot this little snip of video. I love watching them run. It just adds to the fun of living here.
In the first video Annie leads them out and then they all stop in the shade of the hill but then they took off again and I got the second video.
Signe took the lead followed by Buttercup. Thor and Annie. Guinivere catches up followed by Alex and Rusty. Finn who is normally the leader says, hey wait for me, and comes running in at the end cutting across the other side of the round pen. This time there wasn't much for the bucking and such but it was still fun to watch for me.

It's so beautiful there, reminds why I love Wisconsin and Minnesota so much! The backlighting is so pretty in those shots.
You can send me that palomino any time.....! ;) You have some beautiful horses Ranger.

Thanks Renee. I know what you mean. Growing up in southeast MN I sometimes forget how pretty it can be here. I just get used to it being normal.
That palomino is my purebred Morgan. Although she is pretty dirty right now she is a beauty. If and when we ever decide to breed she will be the starting point for us. I have a connection for a free stud fee to a Buckskin Morgan and the place I bought her from has a new black stud with no connection to her. Some day maybe she will be a mom. :)

There are 8 but those minis can be deceiving. :)
They are listed in the description.
I really wanted to get down to three or four last fall but values were so low I decided to keep them through the winter.

Yay! Freedom! Looks like they were really happy to get out!
I haven't gotten to see much of Southeastern Mn. It's prettier down there than it is here.

Breeding her sure would be fun, I bet she'd have a nice foal for you. Always wanted a Morgan....someday I hope to have one. :)

GR, Come and visit sometime but be careful, you might want to stay.
JackieB, I get a kick out the minis. They can be be very comical. They are almost always bringing up the rear. lol
Remali, Maybe by the time she has a foal you'll be ready to buy! :)
