Day 1:
Vicor woke up singing today, literally! He was nickering and neighing to his heart contant as my sister fed them.
In the evening, I put on his lime green rope halter, clipped on the lead and said, "Alright Pal, time to learn some manners."
We start with simply walking and halting, every time he stopped to close, he had to back up to steps. He caught on rather quickly, we then moved on to bending and giving to pressure.
We danced around together until he realized I wasn't asking him to turn, just bend his head in to me. :D He learned how to bed his head on either side, his right side being his toughest. He learned how to stop when I step in front of his shoulder and to wait until I asked him to move forward before he could go threw the gate.
All simple exercises. I love watching "babies" learn something new, especialy when you see the look of enlightenment on their faces! lol
