He was FABULOUS! The lady that rode with me's horse was terrible, fought her the whole way, but Baloo was excellent, a perfect angel. He was very hesitant to take the jumps at first (they were different from the ones at home ) but then he warmed up and got much better and happily popped right over them!
There was a photographer, so they should hopefully post the pictures soon, I think they got great photos of him jumping some cross rails.
Here's what my mom took of us around the trailers and as we were leaving:

Awww--congrats! The pics are fab! Sometimes selling one horse and buying another is really the right thing for everyone, isn't it? Tell us some tales, now--how'd it go? Scariest thing? Funnest part? Funniest thing?

Well, the photographer was at one of the jumps about 3/4 way through the course and Baloo jumped it beautifully! So hopefully The photographer will post the photos on his website soon.
I didn't really have any scary moments on Baloo, but the lady I rode with (that grey mare in the photos), had quite a few scary moments! the mare was having a VERY bad day apparently, and was just jigging and making a fuss the whole way (very unlike this mare) and even ran backward once or twice and started bucking. So Baloo ended up playing leader and she followed him (helped her focus on him instead of the other horses galloping in front of us!) so we did a lot of walking, some trotting and a few short canters.
here's a funny photo of us jumping my mom took. this is the first set of jumps we tried right after the start. Baloo was VERY confused as to why he was suddenly SUPPOSED to jump pasture fences, as it got him in quite a bit of trouble when he tried it in August. So the first one he trotted up to, stopped in front of, then hopped over, and the second one we had to circle back and try a second approach and he hopped it pretty funny, so excuse my form!

If you ever get the chance go! They are so much fun! The two I've been to this year are great because they had them in Unionville, which is Foxhunting country, so its perfect for a hunter pace.
Its nice because you always have the option to go around jumps (Baloo and I dont go over 2'6"! hehe)

Oh, and I just found out we got 4th place in our division! (low jump, mixed senior and junior. I counted as a junior to them, apparently... even at 21 years old. lol)
