Lady says, do I have to sit mom, please let me come to you...lol

Im wondering if they bred a mini to a standard(med size)Schnauzer.
Not that it matters, but MINI, he is never gonna see.
Gotta love the pup, he is now 8 months old.

His only issue is, he hates to be away from me. If I leave the house, he has to be crated or someones shoes are going to get ate.

Yep, separation anxiety. Diesel has it BAD. He will eventually get over it, but crating is always a good idea. He's such a cute little (big) guy! He's so BIG!

I can see separation anxiety if he were the only dog, but he has Lady and Shyla, so its weird for me. I have never had a dog that happy to see me, and Lady and Shyla are happy to see me, but not as happy as Tex...lol. Oh, Im not complaining, I think its very sweet. I love him as much too, so were even..lol

Aww he's such a cutie. He just loves his mama! :) You're more important than the other dogs. :)

my dad and stepmom just got a "mini" schnauzer in January to take the place of Nugent, their mini schnauzer that passed away on Christmas Eve. Wasn't a very happy Christmas there :(
Gonzo is like your boy...too big to be a mini. He's also black with a touch of white! Nugent was a salt and pepper.

they are smart little dogs. I taught Nugent several tricks and it only took him 5 minutes or so to get the idea....and I was the only one that did those tricks with him, and he would go weeks or months without me seeing him and STILL remember them!

Awwwwwwww!!! He's gotten so big!!!! Seems like just yesterday I met him!! He was such a little puppy!!!!! Well guess he won't fit on your saddle huh?

The doggie company doesn't make up for mama (human) company. That's why he still has separation anxiety. Diesel is always so happy to see me, even after being gone for 5 seconds, he falls over begging for a belly rub lol.

Ya know, he still might. Ruffus was a CockaPoo(larger size) and rode with me. I just dont know if I can handle his size in the saddle. My back issues. We will see. I will try him out in an area where I know he will be safe, see how he travels in and out of the saddle.
He would need to be able to ride out, in the saddle, and be put down to travel on his own. Not sure he will like the down part though.
Also, after he got that tick, I got scared and would be concerned about bugs.
Hes my baby, I cant let ANYTHING get him. Maybe, he will go but stay back at the trail head, depending on heat.

He is so cute!

My Hannah has separation anxiety and she has other dogs around her. Crating helps keep her safe too and our belongings! :)

LOL Gliderider. I was feeding him 1 cup twice a day, vet said hes a lil big, so cut him down to 3/4 cup twice a day and he has a nice waist line now.

Grady has a tendency to get a little fat to I think its a Schnauzer thing..He lovesss to eat..You know what helped him to trim his waist getting the 2 boxer puppies. He runs and plays like a pup with them he has lost 7 pounds since they arrived. Maybe Tex would like a puppy. ;)

OH NOOOOO, no more puppies...lol. Tex is only 7 months old, hes puppy enough.
He plays with Shyla and Lady, so all are ok in build(Shy is on a diet, lost a lil weight)
