At long last :P I woulda posted earlier, but I had a Jazz Evensong on Sunday and that kind of blitzed my free time...I apologize in advance for the blurriness, but my proper camera died a battery death so I had to use my phone D:

So, OK:
My "wench" dress. This is what I serve in - it doesn't quite fit me yet so I have to go into Creativity on Monday and have myself measured.

My Lady of Lumley dress :D this doesn't fit me either, it needs about 4 inches of material off the back/waist area.

And my daft hat, that is easily 5" high at the tallest bit. :O the veil is quite long too. This is the closest to the actual colours:

This is from the top of the staircase I get to the Baron's Hall through - the guests come up from a cellar. Here you can see the courtyard, a small part of the castle (there are 2 courtyards, but the castle isn't really that big...mum reckons it's more of a manor house)

As you can tell it was a bit dark...so all my other photos, of the castle all lit up and the pretty sparkly trees by the mounting block didn't really come out. Darn camera battery

I told one of the girls about the headless horseman...she reckons we should have one up at Hallowe'en :P speaking of which, I got my Hallowe'en programme Saturday...argh! The songs make me cringe  there's "The Lumley Family" as in, Addams family...however we do get to sing "Double Double" from Harry Potter, so it isn't all bad. I have a rehearsal Saturday morning for dance moves! Oh yes, because we also have to sing the Time Warp...

Have to sing The Time Warp?! Have to sing The Time Warp?! KittySawrus, that's just about the funnest-est-est-est song ever written! I got up to dance the Time Warp in my teens, I do it now closing in on age 50, and I'll do it in my 80s if I'm able!

Thanks for sharing the pictures. We are looking forward to more stories of your cool new job.

Oh cool! What a fun job that would be, makes me want to come and watch!

It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
With your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
But it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane,
Let's do the Time Warp again!

And that, lovesfortune, is the Time Warp :)

Or perhaps this: YouTube - The Time Warp! (perhaps some mature content, it is the Rocky Horror Picture Show after all :P)

I promise I will get more, better pics :) maybe I can get someone to take some whilst we're all on stage o.0

And you guys should ALL come over and have a great big WB Forum Elizabethan Banquet :D

I have no idea what Time Warp is???

It's really fun, lovesfortune. At either the movie or the theatre (play) version of The Rocky Horror Show, everyone jumps up and does the Time Warp dance with the actors. Well, everyone who wants to have fun and doesn't mind looking a bit silly, anyway. :)
