Well I have been working pretty hard at the breeding stable with their young horses and it's going well. Echo should be ready for the baby greens by July. Hopefully I can ride him at the Barrington Hill Charity Horseshow in August. Last Saturday a photographer came out to get updated pics for the website. I went out to work but thought I was just going to be grooming and that their pro rider was going to be riding. They ended up putting me on not only the young ones I've been working with but also on one of the older smaller warmbloods, "True", since I'm so small and they wanted her to look bigger. Everyone was really good except Emagine. I was sitting on her back in the ring, just standing there waiting for the photographer to quit talking and she all of a sudden put her head down and took off bucking down the fenceline. Got to the corner, stopped, reared and started back the other way. I bailed and we took pics on the ground.... She needed her teeth done so I couldn't get in her mouth or pull or steer or anything cause she would flip out. Otherwise I would have goetten back on and worked her thorugh it. She got done this week though so it's all good.
I worked again yesterday. I only rode Enero and Echo but they were both very good. Got Echo trotting beautifully back and forth over a crossrail. The vet was out to geld two of the yearlings, PK and Evin. And Evita's foal was born! They used a surrogate mare and she had some trouble so we had to pull him out and we thought he was stillborn. But he wasn't so we got him up and nursing. After that, besides a retained placenta which flushed easily, everything was fine. Soooo, here are pictures!
He's a Popeye K baby so we're thinking of naming him Poker Face.

And here's Endora and Emagine since I never posted pics of them.
Endora, I love her.

And Emagine. She's pretty, but a handful.
