Anyone ever done Flyball with their dog?

I'm thinking about doin this with my aussie/heeler. She has an obcession with balls and I've been told she would be good at it.

What kind of things do they need to know how to do before starting? She's still under 1 so she's not going to start til summer. She knows sit, lie down, somewhat knows stay (depends on whats going on around her :mad:), come, retrieves and returns. Anything else she should know?

I did it a little. She should be tested and trained to stay on task even when there is another dog running right next to her.

My Gidget could, she didn't care about all the shouting or the other dogs running. My Logan, it was just more sensory stimulation than he could stand. He'd go join the dog next to him, as getting his ball seemed more fun. :rolleyes:

She stays very focused and I can get her to do anything if there is a ball in my hand... she won't do tricks for treats but for a ball...:rolleyes: She doesn't really like other dogs so she never runs off with the other dogs (she's not mean just pretends they don't exist) but people is another thing...
