Mother Hen..well he wants to be LOL !!

Grady my Mini Schnauzer wants to be a Mother hen soo bad. He loves the little peeps. I had to share some pictures of him trying to be Mother Hen. The little peep by its self is my first full stock Turken. The Fox hubby trapped it was trying to make a meal of my Chickens. It did get a couple of them before we caught her. Don't worry we didn't end her life we just relocated her far away from chickens..

How CUTE is little Grady???? So precious how he loves the little chicks who are also sweet. I love them when they are babies, I like them when they are adults too. My friend wants to give me some to have around the yard to eat the ticks but we also have lots of Mr and Mrs Foxes around and bobcats and everything else. I hate to have chickens just to make them dinner. My brother in law built coops with wire buried in the ground and tops on them and weasles got in, seems it's impossible to keep them safe and if they were free range probably nothing would keep them safe. Wonder how peacocks are with ticks? He had a peacock and that thing went all over and nothing ever hurt it. It died of old age.

That fox is beautiful. My in laws had a pet fox, his name was Shane, he was raised with their poodle!

I know Mini schnauzers are "ratters" (we have one) but I guess they aren't "chick-ers". :)

Star 197 LOL chick-ers HEHE !! He does like to take off and pack around frozen mice. My husband had laid them out to thaw for his snakes and went back to get them and they were gone. LOL !!

LOL..so thats it, Tex from Texas, and a tall boy at that. Glad hes not wide too...lol
Tex, and my other dogs, are fed twice a day, and treats sometimes. My vet gets on me if I let them get over weight. I like that about him. Now if he could of found a way to keep Tex short like a mini, that would of been cool...LOL.
Gotta love the pup no matter what.
