Need help in Computer For Dummies Group!

Just thought I'd give a heads up that I posed a question in there.

If anyone knows about replacing and troubleshooting RAM memory, I'd appreciate it if they would check out my post in there. I'm extremely frustrated right now! Especially since I've changed RAM before with no problems!

Sorry.... I'm a driver, not a mechanic, and hubby's at work. If he can check in he'll help, I'm sure, but it depends on ifs!

Hopefully someone shows up who does know soon.

Thanks WB- at least my computer sytill works with my old RAM- things could be a lot worse!

I just know most of us- except me, of course, don't check in the computer group too often, lol!

Noooot quite! I just wanted to put it up to its maximum RAM- I'm only running 256 MB! Explanation is in the Computer group, lol!

Maybe I should copy and paste it here?
