Check out this site. We know her, and I threaten to steal "Judge" every time I see him at a show. He is one nice Dane.

Just curious.. at the banner at the top...what are the things in/around there ears? Is that to make them stand up straighter or somehting (I know nothing about great dane showing )

Those are pups, they've just had their ears cropped and those structure things help them heal and stand up straight. My vet used to shove tampons in there for the drainage and tape em up strong. . .

Cute Danes!!! Not as cute as your Mastiff's though.

They are awesome but your dogs are WAY better.

Just wondering, how much do Mastiffs run for? Are they always pretty slobbery? Do they bark a lot?

Aw, man. I love danes! I saw one at the beach that wasn't a year old yet and if he stood up on his hind feet he would've been taller than me  I'm 5'9! He was all black and his name was Joker - had a batman symbol on his collar lol. He was sweet as can be though.

That's a Blue Merle. They are very pretty!

And Cheval, I've only owned one Mastiff, but for her she only barks when she needs to. She's VERY protective, not agressive, protective. She will place herself between us and a stranger until she knows it's all good. And yes they drool a LOT. Piper doesn't all the time luckily but whenever she drinks there will be a puddle in the kitchen about 5 feet around the bowl. . I just keep a mop handy and rags. . . and anytime she goes out to play she gets drooly. Best Dogs though. She's so good with my kid and she's makes me feel safer at night while I'm feeding the horses.

I simply ADORE judges puppy pictures. He was sooo small with those HUGE PAWS. I mean SERIOUSLY.

I've always adored the Danes, I'm more a fan of the classic fawn color though.

The lady my daughter works with just lost her great dane. He was only 2 and just dropped dead in their back yard after letting out a little yelp. They are assuming that their must have been something congenital or quirky but the loss was pretty tough. .

Thank you :)

We sell our puppies for $1500 - $2500. Some slobber ALLOT, if they have the big jowls...some less. Some bark, some don't. Ours are (now) renowned for their singing.:)

While at the National Mastiff Specialty in NC, there were about 20 dogs from various breeders in the camp ground. Danielle and I walked over to the folks next to us...about 50 yards away. Deanna starts singing (howling), and of course the other 3 of ours chime in...well, within 10 seconds ALL the Mastiffs in the campground were "singing". It was hilarious.

ohh isn't he a looker! I just LOVE danes. What I'd do for one right now! I want one sooo bad but I'm just not sure I can deal with the loss if they pass soon.
