Beautiful pictures, I really enjoyed them, thanks for sharing with us, you really got some great shots. Those sculptures are amazing, and I just love those planes. That must have been something to see.

Sorry for not getting back sooner, things have been unbelievably crazy. Haven't turned my pc on in 3 days and have been briefing checking the board on my iPod around 12am or so.

Glad everyone enjoyed the pics! That day was a very moving one, just as I had this past Memorial Day when we went to the parade that I posted pics of. My dad's big into history too and on the day we went to the D-Day memorial he was telling us alot of things about stories he'd read,etc. We read the plaques, etc. Very moving! The statues of the guys laying along the water, and the one of them climbing the "wall" was amazing. It truly does move you.
