I love the name Roxy, it IS cute. :)
She is VERY shy and scared right now.. I have been handling her a lot since I got her. My mom & Dan love her. :)

She is very cute! But with that bald spot you might want to check her for lice or mites. My college brought in seven piggies from a pet store and every one of them was infected.

She's soo cute. She looks so little. Love your name choice!
On the bedding, I'd go with the Carefresh stuff too. My sister has two guinea pigs and she was initially using a wood type and one of them had a problem with it. She uses carefresh now and they are both good with that.
Congrats on your addition :)

She's so cute! You're making me miss having my piggies!! :D
Keep an eye on the bald patch, I agree with littleredmare that it could definitely be mites or lice. Let me know if it continues to stay there or increases, I can tell you how to treat it, it's pretty easy. We treated all of ours because our vet couldn't determine if it was mites from the skin scraping he did so I just went ahead and treated all of them, it doesn't hurt the unaffected.

Thanks everyone, she's a cutey but still a scared little thing.. I sneezed and she flipped out and flew into her igloo.
The bald spot is filling in, actually. So I don't think mites? Or could it still be mites?

It depends...it could still be mites or something similar - most pet store piggies have mites, we took in a pregnant piggie one time and we had them in separate rooms and everything but I must have not washed my hands enough or something because all of ours got them and we had 8 at the time then. Luckily, it's really easy to treat really it doesn't hurt so I would treat it anyways.. Maybe wait a week or two and see if there is a drastic difference or if it's just kinda lingering. It would take that long anyways if you wanted to diagnose it at the vet's.
