He took a riding lesson with me and farmers_wife!!! :D Can you believe it??
Actually, the two of us have been having some marriage counseling sessions with our pastor. We feel that we need to find ways to love each other more fully and put aside some selfish behaviors. Our pastor praised us for humbling ourselves enough to admit it and among other homework assignments he gave Nathan some homework. Nathan needed to find 25 ways to love me. Isn't that great? So among other things ;) he let me keep my foster kitten Dakota and starting taking riding lessons with me and Faith.
Sunday was lots of fun. He used my black helmet and I borrowed Faith's little daughter's purple helmet. So, Nathan wouldn't have to wear the gross lesson helmets. He rode western pleasure instead of doing hunter/jumper with Faith and I, but it was still fun. He did really good, I think. He's really only ridden with me a couple of times when we were dating and Faith and I dragged him along on one of our trail rides once. Other than that this was his first ever arena riding.
Oh, and you can post this :worthless: all you want, but Faith took all the evidence with her to Las Vegas. :(
On a side note: I have been looking for a used pair of ariats, ropers or lace up riding boots for Nathan. Anyone know of any good websites to check? Or anyone selling any mens size 10 boots?? I checked e-bay.
