Ha, Prodigy is quite the handsome boy.. Minus his butt highness, he is actually starting to look normal.
I will get more pictures soon.. This is all over him.. his face, shoulders, some on his legs, everywhere.

Brutus looks just like that too. I thought he was a Dunn but I got his Coggins yesterday and they say roan(???) Wierd. I love the line down the back though.

He is roaning out meaning he's getting white hairs. :)

Is he an Appaloosa? They could just mean Varnish roan.
I remember our old vet put Tyke down as "roan" on his coggins which confused the heck out of me because he is no where near roan. He has a very small amount of varnishing going on, that's it.
Believe it or not Prodigy is still shedding out so we will probably be seeing more.

Varnishing is when an Appaloosa starts to get white hairs, but don't confuse it with true roaning. Prodigy was a solid dun with only a few spots on his rump last year, and this year he is covered in white hairs--- He's varnishing like his sire. Most likely this will continue and Prodigy will be a LOT whiter in a few years ()
Here's his sire, who was once chestnut before he varnished:
