Well, I had a fabulous day and thought I would give an update on the horses.
Nanna- Is doing lovely, she is great to ride and handle, an absolute doll. I have been riding her bareback in a hackamore/halter. My confidence is coming back! She is a joy, I just started trotting her ( VERY bumpy girl), she is very patient with me, if I lose my balance she stops. :D Her only problem is she pulls back, all the time. I think I am solving it though, I bought the 'clip' and slowly but surely she is pulling back less and less distance. Shes not scared when she does it, in fact she is calm, I think an old habit perhaps. Oh, and I found out by accident that she knows the 7 games, very well! With all the negativity surrounding Parelli, I have actually been pleasantly surprised with how nice it is. She is very sensitive, responsive, and respectful.

Roz- Is doing well, lost a little weight but its picking back up again, constant battle. He's quite bored, so he gets lots and lots of treats, which has turned him into a bit of a pig. I have started loose lunging him as he really wants to do something, the more I let him sit in the paddock the stiffer he seems to get. I think I might start ponying him from Nanna once I get my saddle, should be fun.

River- She is doing exceptional, I am so very proud of this girl. I'm not doing anything amazing with her, just improving picking up feet/ tying / trailer loading/grooming/ etc. River is such a sweetie. Oh, and she wants to be a Reining horse when she grows up.:D
