I seem to only post when I have been to Strang now :P having not been at Ivesley for the past 4 weeks it's been my horsey life line!! So I was snapping away with my phone camera again, it was a busy ol' sunny day today - and there were good pics to be had!
Captions at the top!
First off, I was GOING to lead Tommy today, but the ride never turned up on time. During our 20-mins-of-waiting time, I convinced my instructor Rebecca to let me ride him next week :D so that's me on Tommy for the next lesson! Huzzah!!

So with not much to do since the ride was cancelled and barely any mucking-out to be done...I snapped some pics of our yard in the sunshine!!
This is the aisle, from the top (the pony block end), the entrance to the indoor arena is at the bottom on the right.

If we turn our back to the aisle, we face the pony block, which includes two double-stables housing two ponies each. There's also the tool shed! I usually muck out this block...dunno why, just habit I guess.

Turning to the right, we face Nola's block, named after the horse occupying the first stable you come to. It's one of two sister blocks made of 6 stables. These stables all have concrete floors.

In between the pony block and Nola's block is the hay barn! Do you love my awesome photomerge? :P

If you walk along Nola's block a little you can see out to the outdoor arena and the far yard. Useful for shouting for people :)

And this is the far yard! All these stables have rubber matting, dunno why. It also used to be a pure livery block, til Bramble got moved because he bites so much, and Inca & Aerial left so we moved Jazzy & Tommy in.

And if you're looking for Tommy, he lives in the last stable on the far yard:

So why was it a good photo day? Well, there was a seminar on I didn't know about - and was a little cotly for me atm - called "Painted muscles in motion". It looks really interesting, and after lunch we got 6 horses out and people were panting them with chalk to see where the muscles lay so they could then walk them and see how the muscles moved:

I've got one last picture to show you guys :) so last week I went out ona hack on Apollo. well, I say hack -it was about 10 minutes long, if that, we barely did owt but what we did do involved a gallop along a narrow track with the smallest (and fastest) pony in front and a close encounter w/ a hawthron bush. But here' me and Apollo PRE hack:
