i've not been the "new kid on the block" on a forum for a looooooooooooooong time,
and i dont know what to do where to post and what to say in my replies its mostly cause i dont really know anything about anyone [apart from BeachRiding] or the horses and stuff, so i like dont know what to write unless its "aww pretty horse" on a pic thread and thats not a good way to get to know someone :p.
So like you know, i'd like to like come on here and be a "regular" :cool:
so help!!!

I'm Jess, im 17 and i live in Wiltshire, England. It rains alot:nono:. I have 2 neds in my life, a 13.1hh welsh section b gelding named Solo (my horse of a lifetime) i love him to pieces, and a 16.1hh ex racer tb mare called Bella she is definatly a challange but i LOVE her loads :D. I have a gorgey boyfriend called Brett, who is sososososo lovely who i have been with for AGES, and i am studying Law and Health and Solical care at college.
I dont really know what else to include apart from a few pics :rolleyes::huh::)

Well, that's a pretty good start for settling in :cool:... your horses are beautiful.

As for me... I'm on the other side of 40, used to show Arabs and jump a little when I was young and thin :) My hubby and I mostly trail ride now... my ole Bay is 27, and still doing really well, we take it pretty easy :)

The little pony on the left is I think a lot like your little guy, though she's Hackney. She's currently ill though, nursing her along with kidney failure. She's holding steady at the moment though, as well as we can expect.

This is a really fun forum, and we're pretty laid back. The sky will not fall if you don't know what to say or post a thread in the wrong place, I promise!:p

If you're not sure of something, don't be afraid to ask, like you did now.

As you can see, the WB's are very approachable, which in my opinion, is one of the special things about this forum.

And 13 year old Beauty, a registered Quarter Horse. She's my sweet (but crazy:rolleyes:) project horse that is wicked fast but a little nutty and a very sad excuse for a barrel racer; but that's ok, I love her anyway.:p

I am 45 have 3 horses, 3 dogs and 2 kids. My horses are 2 geldings, both 5 yrs old and one mare who is 16 yrs old. My kids and I ride in gaming events and I do trail riding when I am not getting tossed from my "kids" horse. LOL... You can read about that adventure in my post. :)

I don't like to talk about myself much.
As of today I have 4 horses.
Bullet - 19 months old (not sure what she is, looks like Quarter horse), Trigger - 4 years old Appaloosa, them two are technically my husband's...they don't think so though.
Crystal is my love; she will be 2 years old in couple of months (not sure what she is, she looks like thoroughbred). I just started training her and she is doing great.
And the last one is 8 months old colt - rescue I got today...still have to come up with a name. He is half Arab and half Paint.

I go to two riding schools - well, technically I go to one for paid lessons and volunteeer at one. Ivesley Equestrian Centre I have paid lessons & work at occasionally, they're a well-known yard round here with good facilities and better horses :D Strang RDA is a disabled riding school (You've probs heard of the RDA) where I volunteer because I want to be a vet! I consider both and equal second home. I've never owned my own horse and probs won't until I'm in my mid-twenties because I'll be going to university for 5 years...with any luck...'cause I wanna be a vet!

Hey Rayenn, I didn't realize there was another Alice on the board. Cool! Alice isn't a very common name where I am. Gorgeous horse too :)

Anyways, I am Alice. I am 19 and live in south Georgia. I am studying accounting in college. I don't have a horse yet, but generally ride every week at my stables. I ride western but don't really do anything except that my instructor puts me on new horses a lot to see how ridable they are, and I help to train trouble horses. I have lots of other pets though. 2 rabbits, 2 finches, a tortoise, and a dog make up my menagerie. They are all a lot of fun.

I'm Amy, about to turn 30 (YIKES!), live in Texas where it is HOT HOT HOT. I am a mom/photographer/real estate assistant. My son is about to turn 4. My hubby and I were High School sweethearts and we just had our 5 year wedding anniversary but we've been together for 14 years total.

More importantly are my critters!! Lol. We are lucky to have a mini ranchette here with about 7 acres and lots of critters!! The horses!
Sterling is my soul mate, love of my life, never be able to replace horse. She turned 21 this year. She's an Appaloosa, 1/2 Arabian, and we used to barrel race and compete in playdays, as well as endurance racing, but now we just do trails. . .

Mack is our 17 hand 23 year old Trakehner gelding. He was a rescue and is coming along nicely on weight but he is old and arthritic. Aside from mild trail rides and parades he is going to be my son's horse. . .

Sunny was my husband's horse, just turned 21 as well, but she is arthritic and only a pasture pony. She's the boss of all equines though. . and she's pretty. . .lol

Hello, I'm 40 and live in Florida, I own 2 registered Quarter horses but I'm in the process of trying to sell the palomino, I've had horses for 32 years and couldn't imagine my life without them. Here they are..........

Willow (palomino) is 5 years old and quite a challenge, Cisco (sorrel) is 18 years old and good as gold! I've owned him since he was 5 months old.
