Went for a short ride today, and since it was so nice out, I thought it would be a good day to get some pics.

Well, sort of! Shadowdancer took a few pics, and they didn't come out too well, so while he held Gypsy, I grabbed the camera and tried:

Then, Shadowdancer took his bike, so he could get some pics from different locations. He thought the end of the ditch for a head on shot would be neat. Evidently, Gypsy didn't think so, because this is what he got!

Sorry the pics are so small, but I had to zoom them in Photobucket- she just wouldn't get that close! That and I discovered the camera batteries were dead when we got back!:mad: I couldn't figure out why they looked so far away, when they were supposed to have been done on full zoom, lol!

Is that the boogeyman?:eek:

As you can see, I had to bail- she was in full flight mode, lol! And of course, I would have to be riding with my English bridle, so I was trying to get the reins over her head for better control.

At least here, I finally had the reins over her head and had some control, lol!

All I could figure is that she didn't identify him, because he was standing in tall grass.

At least she was fine with the bike on the way back, so that was something!

Yep- she still can snort and spin with the best of them! I just don't see the point in trying to stick that kind of stuff any more.

Funny how horses see things, isn't it. Just proves how they see so much differently than we do.

She looks calm after wards though. Very good!!

I hope to ride one day this yr, but its nice being able to see others ride.

She's silly! She used to think the hoses on septic pumping trucks were giant snakes that were going to eat her, lol!

She wasn't too thrilled with the bike, but she's getting better. It was the fact that Shadowdancer was standing at the end of the ditch in tall grass that set her off!

Yeah, once she figures out what's going on, she usually comes right down- she's seen a lot of crazy things in her time, believe me!

How come you haven't been able to ride, Vicky?
