OK... finally found my camera and got my own computer out. LOL...ouch!

Obviously I didn't get any pictures from riding. After my accident I did alot of sitting around. :(

So here are some photos from our week.

I'm sorry about your injuries...

I'm curious though, what's the temperature there? You desert people all look like you're dressed for the cold, and I can't believe it's cold up there! :D

Where were you... I was born in Show Low... Hubby is from Prescott.

Beer & vicodin=breakfast of champions!!!!!!:p

That is EXACTLY what got me through the rest of the trip!

WB and Kevin... it was up in Payson. It was in the 70's during the day and down to the 40's at night. When I was riding or flying.... whichever... I was in just a t-shirt. It cooled down pretty fast up in the mountains and one of the reasons we went to that place was to escape the heat from the Valley. We left the 100' weather behind. ;) Now back here at home it is 101'. yuck!

Nice pics except the last two OUCH!!!!!

I know you guys had to be cold up in Payson. We were in Williams AZ those same days as yo in Payson and it was COLD. I would say in the 70's during the day and upper 40's in the evening. I'm glad that I pack extra jackets, coats, hats, gloves and ear muffs LOL. Sedona was in the upper 70's low 80 with a mild breeze.
By the way, I'm thinking of moving to AZ after this trip and I think I have my hubby thinking the same thing. (at least it's not NY:eek:)

Oh man Gaited... you were only 2 hours away from us! Yeppers it gets cold in the mountians! But I love it during the day.

We are "supposed" to go back up in a couple of weeks, but I think we will be leaving the horses behind! And back to sleeping in a tent.....yuck! I slept so good in my LQ I don't think I could go back to a tent. :(

We are going back to Sedona before the kids have to go back to school. We have to go to San Diego in July, camping at Mt Charleston in late July early Aug. and maybe the following week Sedona;)

I love the mountains in the summer time.

hmmm.... I think Sedona is about an hour and a half from where I live... I haven't been there is awhile, but it's lovely up there! Let me know when you go, maybe we can hook up! ;)

OUCH!!! I know it looks bad but it isn't as bad as it might have been. I tend to look on the bright side and am glad you were not hurt any worse than you were. Sure puts a damper on camping though. After that a beer and a campfire seem about right.

I am glad you are all ok and that looks painful. If you go back can you bring your trailer and no horses. That is what i would do. i dont think I could go back to a tent either.

LOL... I just remembered this morning that the colors I ride Dallas in are PURPLE.... guess Joe decided I needed to match Dallas! :hysterical::hysterical:

FarmersWife: I can't haul the trailer with my truck issues. It's a runaway freight train going down the hills. And it's ALL downhill coming home, that is why I had to have someone come up and get my trailer. :(

If you ever get to AZ, my husband will golf with you! He's pretty good. :)
Me.... I never understood the excitment of chasing a little white ball around, when there are several more in the bag... LOL :hysterical:

I question the logic myself sometimes, you hit the ball to somewhere you aint then have to walk after it,,,,Kevin
