Samson update!! *PIC HEAVY!*

Ok guys!
We had an ODE on home property (13th june) and it was 2'9.. first ODE 2'9, so so scary! The showjumps were huge and we ended up running out at the second jump, when he locks his jaw there's no stopping him! But then he flew over the rest.. might I mention again they were MASSIVE? I am really pleased with the double cause he never gets one stride in a one stride double hah =) We did a good dressage and a clear XC =) I did give him a little too much rein after the keyhole causing him to stumble, but he tosses his head and doesn't really care ^-^ He is a superstar =D
Didn't place but amazing day =) Who said cobs can't jump?

Looks like you had a great time!! Samson is a super star!! Look at him jump:) What a cutie and you both did great! Just curious but how tall is Samson? Is He around 14.2? I'm guessing because I think that's the average cob hight but he sure can jump!!!:D

OMG Your first ODE was 2' 9"? Frrrreeeaaak out :O I can barely cope w/ Gerry jumping 2' 9", never mind titchy wee Samson!! I'm chuffed for ya for doing it tho :D I wanted to do an ODE this summer but with my four-week-absence from Ivesley I guess that's out :(

Wowza! That Samson can really jump! Those fences are a respectable size- at least to me, lol! 2'9" is the highest I've ever jumped, and that was on a horse that was pro trained, and could jump 4 feet, though he was never shown jumping.

What I'm getting at is the fact that I really respect all the dedication and hard work you and Samson put into doing something like this- totally awesome!

I love your videos and pics, too, so keep 'em coming!
