Finally no rain

Finally no rain today ! We hope to trailer out later this week to trail ride if the rain holds off. My Son and I rode the horses today around the farm. Brave's rain rot is finally cleared up. He still has some spots where the hair needs to grow back yet. I never had a horse with it so bad before MTG worked great. Today was the first time I have rode him since he arrived because the rain rot. He did great. He still needs a bit of weight but has gained some. Jordan on the other hand was feeling his oats today. He is so much fun to ride when he is like that he gaits like a fool. :)

Jordan and I.. I love this horse. If hubby would let me I would let him live in the house.

Don't pay attention to me holding the back of the saddle. It was DH's saddle and the seat is to big for me. So I feel like I am all over the place in that saddle.

Thanks gals :) Jordan is my pride and joy. :) I love that horse. Don't know why the first pic you can't click it to make it bigger to see. Its in my album. Just noticed he looks down hill in that second pic but he is not we were standing on a hill. Brave is such a sweet boy. He is going to be a perfect horse for hubby to trail ride with us.

I want to live with my boys, that's where the barn house comes in, horses on one side, me on the other. All's it takes is money!!!! The pictures are great, I wish the rain would stop here too, it rains every day without fail and the mud is horrid. Rompy has an absess in his foot, we don't have stalls so he's out there with us trying to keep it clean which is impossible. It was wrapped and that stayed on a day, we rewrapped that stayed on another day then the farrier rewrapped and it didn't last an hr the mud sucked it off. I have to go up to the barn and get Sue's special forumula that hopefully will help without needing to be wrapped. We used it on Delta and 2 treatments helped her when nothing else did. Hugs to the horses and other animals, especially little Grady!

It's so great when you get a horse that's your best buddy. Not much can compare to that!

Easter does that too. It's like she has to smell your shoes to make sure you are still there. She sometimes licks them too. I just laugh at her when she does that and make her move on.

Oursarge I am sorry to hear about Rompy abscess hope it heals up quick. Isn't this just an awful summer it rains way to much. Grady is just getting over a belly ache. He ate chick starter a whole bowl. Silly boy.

lisakaye lol !! Jordan sometimes licks mine to. I don't know why. I am glad to hear he is not the only silly one.
