My girlfriend that went camping with me called me this morning to tell me that her new Boston Terrier pup had gotten stolen or got out of her yard last night. He is her pride and joy. She was a wreck! She said her neighbor thought she had seen a guy in a big white truck take little Tommy and put him in his truck.
She posted on all the petfinder places, made up some flyers, went to the pound on her side of town and I went to the pound on my end of town. Still no luck. :(
The pup disappeared last night, so since she lives IN the desert, we knew the coyotes would have gotten him during the night since he was not found this morning.
I was getting ready to get some flyers from her, when she called me to let me know that a man had pulled up in a big white truck and had her puppy. HE was getting ready to post FOUND signs, while she was posting LOST signs. Turns out, that he was drving down the road yesterday and the puppy was in the road. He stopped, picked him up AND went to the neighbors house to see who the puppy belonged to, but the lady would not answer the door. So he brought the puppy home and took care of it till the next morning, then made up some signs to try and find it's owner.
Someone had unlocked my friends gate and that is how the puppy got out. She was devastated all night and today, but now, puppy and owner are back together. :) Can you believe how lucky she was!
