Okay...i know I am a TERRIBLE mom...I have had Cabo for over a year and I have NEVER cleaned his sheath. I honestly just forgot about it....so I have been doing what I do...I research...and try to understand what I need to do. While looking for "You Tube" videos I came across this...hope you all thought it was as funny as I did.

I am making a "vow" to clean CAbo's Sheath before Sunday...wish me luck!

Not sure if he will enjoy it, but he sure will feel better once he's clean.
When I was washing Trigger's he didn't like it...just tolerated me. Didn't want me to do it with a water hose, but was OK with my cotton gloves. It wasn't grose to be washing him. It was grose that he wasn't cleaned before and all the collected goop in there was pretty nasty. I think if it's done on regular bases it really is not that hard to do.

I have also GOT to do Jack soon. I've had him almost six months and I doubt his has ever been done, from the looks of it.. crusty! I've been trying to wait on warm weather so it wouldn't be so harsh, and well it's here now lol.

So maybe I should join the "by Sunday" club?? :)

Hey, sounds good to me.. I have the feeling Jack will do okay. He was hanging low one day a while back so I did a quick little "test molest" just to see how he would react (my God, am I really sharing this?).. he seemed cool with it.

That horse in the video looks sedated. Remember, besides just washing the outside you have to insert a finger into the urethra & check for & remove any 'beans'. Not many horses like that!
Good luck Gals!
