Note - I merged the two "morning" threads that had been posted, and it sorts them in post time order... so that may account for any weirdness in the flow of the replies... :) - WaBay

I have hot choc. to share and Dunkin Donuts.
I have a meeting tonight and I pray it gets done early.

Gooooood morning! It's a bit breezy outside this morning, but is still supposed to be in the 90s. I have my swim teams last meet (which happens to be home) today. It's against our rivals who beat us at Region last year. We are undefeated so far this year, it would be a shame if we ruined our streak on the last meet. Wish us luck!
I cannot wait till this weekend! I'm doing this Haunted Hay ride with the minis! The minis aren't actually driving through it, they are just a side attraction :cowboy: Cannon wait!!!!!!!

I'm having hot chocolate! I'd love to have some of those donuts, but I guess I'll eat peanut butter cups instead. Not sure what else I'll have for breakfast. Maybe another can of Pork & Beans. I eat them cold, right out of the can -- no dishes to wash. :)
That north wind is COLD. Brrrrrrrrrrrr. Looks like this will be an indoor day.
Sure hope the surgery goes well.

Tanya. Prayers for you to have a good day, you sound exhausted.
Prayers that Canes surgery goes well, the tick bite heals, and you meeting goes swiftly.
I hope you get a nap in some where.

Thanks for the cocoa and donuts.

Good Morning all! I am going to be working my butt off today. I ended up playing with the horses yesterday instead of working...my bad...:innocent: So now I have lots of catching up to do. Plus my BO is going out of town again till Sunday, so I have to take care of all the horses again.
I sure hope Cane gets to feeling better.
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
Morning!
I'm going to be working my butt off too, but not because I have the lovely reason you did for not doing any work yesterday-I was under the weather. But now I have to get ready for a mother-son Cub Scout campout this weekend and my mother and her new husband will be arriving for a visit the same day that the boys and I get home from camping. I think I may have lost my mind--agreeing to campout with my 6 yr old and 9yr old! ;)

I'll have to pass on the donuts, but hot chocolate sounds great! Very cold this morning, got down to the 30's last night.
Am taking care of evil four-year old boy this morning, then will go help out in youngest daughter's class for the rest of the day.
Sending good vibes Cane's way. ;)

Gooood morning, loves! I'm running REALLY late on my all-day studying today. Went for about six hours yesterday and I think I burned myself out. :( Only six more chapters to go, though!
What rash is this? I'm sure it's much fun to drag MORE than one to the doctor.. I only have experience with dragging one and that's bad enough! You'll have to keep us updated.
So I guess I'd better go now.
Oh- this is cute: Hubby and I have been entertained by our three pets this morning.. they're cracking us up! One cat (Tiger) has a hurt paw, so the other (Billy) goes over and taps Tiger's sore paw a few times and then sits on his head! So sweet, the brotherly love around here.
Then the dog goes to try and share the only sunny spot in the living room with Billy-the-evil, so Billy pesters him in that "I'm-not-reeeeally-pestering-him" way until the dog snaps and runs him off.. LOL! They are so darned cute.
Here they were, pre-snap. The snap happened just as I tried to switch my phone to video, lol. Billy had just "non-chalantly" brushed his paw down Pepper's side (poor quality from sun glare/camera phone):

Good Morning All.
Hugs to you Tanya and we will be pulling for Cane!!!!
Carla...Cute picture...Those silly animals. Get to your studies!!!!!!!
Not much planned today. Sunday's Man out of town. I should probably get some housework done while he is away.
We were worried about Mira last night. She just seemed "out of sorts" . We couldn't put our finger on it exactly. She didn't want to eat as much as usual and she wasn't "passing gas" like she usually does. So we walked and trotted her and got her going!!!lol eeewww!!
But she had a good nite and was just fine this morning...She is really such a good horse.
Are there any donuts left???? mmmmmm
Have a great day everyone.

Well I'm back from the doctor. Morgan now has CONFIRMED Ezcema (which I've been saying for months, but her reg. didn't agree on). So this pediatrician (who I LOVE and both my kids really liked) gave me new stuff to try and encouraged me (opposite of the OLD dr.) to keep my appt I made with the dermatologist for Nov. 3. I swear I got more answers and information out of her in 20 min than I have gotten in the last few months with the other dr. Needless to say I am going to be switching doctors. Same clinic, different dept. Yay! It's nice to finally have someone with a degree agree with me and not think I'm crazy.
Good luck to you and Cane today Tanya, update us when you can.

Loves...I am glad you got some answers today. I am glad you are switching doctors too. I think it is so hard these days to find the right doctor. Someone who is knowledgeable and who cares for the patient.. But most especially..someone who will listen to the mother!!!!!
You know, mothers have a special gift when it comes to her kids and knowing something is just not right and know when we are just not getting the right answers and/or treatment for our kids.
When my daughter was young, she kept having infections and sore throats...Over and Over again...It was the time when they stopped taking out the tonsils...said it was better to keep them, even with her getting sick ...I fought it and fought.it..I just felt like she should have them removed...Well, I didn't follow my gut...and now as an adult she is having a terrible problem with them...They have all kinds of pockets in them and food gets stuck in them and she continues to get terrible sore throats and infections. She has to have them out now , which is much worse on a adult than a young child....I should have had it done when she was young. I should searched for another doctor.

Good morning........well good almost afternoon.............
I broke down and had a sausage and gravy biscuit from MickyD's....I bet I'll be regretting that later.:puke:
Beautiful fall weather here, the leaves are really changing and don't you know I can't find my camera. We have a frost warning for tonite. First one of the season.
Kabota goes in for his checkup and to get his stitches out. He is getting back to normal. Chewed up his new squeaky toy, pulled all the stuffing out, already ate the rope part and is working on the rest of it bit by bit. It should be history by time I get home today.
Loves......I agree with Bucks Hollow, go with your "mommy heart", don't let anyone convince you of something when you know better no matter how many fancy degrees they have. Did you Dr. recommend changing your laundry detergent? Tide is the worse one for me, I can use the Allergen Free All and the Free Bounce, no scent. IF I use just about anything else I get a reaction. I mostly use the Melaleuca laundry products, I can use their scented it never has bothered me. Of course my mil uses Tide religiously. The kids always come home broken out after spending the night at her house from the Tide.
Bucks Hollow........so mommy guilt stays with you forever, huh?:cry:
Tanya.....sending you my best and brightest wishes for you and Cane.

Morning!!
Just catching up on emails and such. Nice wild fire burning no too far from us, you can see the smoke from our backyard. I have to wear my mask when outside for more then 2 minutes.
Thankfully it's pretty much contained.
Had to rebandage grace quickly this morning, as the Santa Ana Winds are a BLOWING this morning.
Tanya, you and Cane are in my thoughts today.
I can't stop worrying about my friends father, his surgery is tomorrow morning, I called my Dad, whom is friends with him and my father was bummed. But he has a high chance of a full recovery but you can't help but worry.
Have a great day everyone. :D

Ahh! I don't have time to read all the replies this afternoon (I'll try later though, I promise!). I'm waiting for my partner to show up... I'm about to call him and ask where his butt it! He has to leave in 45 minutes! :(
Parking at my college should be an olympic sport! First you have to find the expensive cars to park between so they won't hit you when they leave (the truck's been hit at least once... and it's bright yellow!), then you have to park between them, because they park close to the lines so no one will park between them... bonus points if you park in reverse (which I can, but didn't have time to today).
I'm off to find my partner, have a great day everyone! :cowboy:
Oops! Forgot to add - I'll send those calming vibes your way FoxFire if you'll send some to me! :D

Evening everyone! (9:40pm)
Off to do a mountain-load of homework so I don't have to much time online :p
If anyone remembers Heidi - I think I've found her again. Still got to talk to my mum about it; but I'm praying it's her. (Heard she'd been sold to a dealer - probably, hopefully, not true. Found her on a 'for loan' site.)
Hope everyone had a good day!

9:40pm! Wow it's 6:14 here right now. Thanks for reminding me though. I also have a ton of homework to do tonight. I almost forgot.
Anyway I had a pretty decent day of school. As decent as any day of school can be at the moment. Had one of those "inspirational" assemblies today. I hate those. And we started watching Last of the Mohicans today in English class. Which would have been great except she gave us an assignment to do with it. In high school they never let you just enjoy the movie anymore. AND the best news is I finished Eclipse today!!!! It was a great book. :) Hope everyone had a good day and has an even better evening!

Well... I would have waited until Monday (remember, I don't have classes that day :p), but my partner is more (is responsible the right word?) attentive than I am, so we started really figuring stuff out this afternoon. I'm supposed to be doing research, so maybe WBay should stick me in the corner so I can get something done (Just kidding!! :D).
We kinda also have to tell the professor our main highlights tomorrow morning... does anyone know anything about advertising music in the Mediterranean? Oh well... didn't think so. :D
We're not finishing the project until Monday afternoon anyway. :cowboy:
