Having another rescue coming in this evenin'

A little 3 week old German shepherd pup....the people that own the mother bred her for the money of course and well the pups are 3 weeks old and about the size of a 2 week old pup....they have them in a dog house in the sun and it gets so hot in there the mom wont stay and nurse them......I know that not every person has there dogs as inside dog but come on at least put the dog house in the shade. I have been trying to help these people but they don't want to put into the welfare of the pups to take away of the profits.....with all my help they offered me a puppy since I am over there almost every day....I helped try to show them how to bottle feed a pup mom kept pushing away and that pup dies cause they don't want to wake up every 2 hours to feed it and make it go to the bathroom.....I even gave them the milk replacer.....I bought and brought them one of those little swimming pools to put the pups in and put them in the shade so that mom will nurse them and the filled it full of water for their other dog to play in and now the pool is shredded....:mad: I told them to go ahead to start offering them soft soupy puppy food and brought some with me to show them and the pups scarfed it up and they said that they will have to eat what momma eats.:deadhorse: So they offered me a pup instead of pulling out of pocket to pay me back....needless to say hell yes I will take a pup.....and they said in 3 weeks she will be ready.....I said no I will go ahead and take her.....and YES I know that pups need their mother for developmental things and the mothers milk but if they are getting neither pup needs to come with me....:mad:

Kudos to you! Some people doesn't know their head from a hole in the ground.

I have a feeling that pup will thrive with you. :) Sometimes mom isn't all they need when they aren't getting her anyways.

I don't think so on this one.....a really close friend of mine lost her German Shepherds a long time ago I told her about it and she said that she would think about it.....she has always wanted another one but felt that she would replace her love for Duke and Dutches.....that has been 5 years ago......I think she is going to take the pup and give it the best home possible.....I know she was on puppyfind.com looking so this will be better she won't be inhibiting a BYB and saving a life.....I honestly don't know how those others are going to make it:(

Well she is here and just got a bath cause her STINKS!!!!!!! My friend seen her and said she'll take her LOL.....and she's a big NCIS fan so named her Zeva LOL....But I am keeping her for a couple of weeks and getting her development there.....

What a precious puppy! Glad you saved her and glad she has a home already. I love NCIS too so I really like her name! We have a puppy, adopted a 6 [Now 7] month old pet store/puppy mill westie, she is so cute but she is going to put me in my grave. I can't housebreak her, she's got a bladder infection we can't seem to get under control and Giordia/Coccsidia we can't get under control and nothing we do keeps her occupied, she's got the attention span of a flea. It's maddening, I'm too old for this. Hopefully little Zeva won't have to struggle with any of those things.
