I'm about the biggest movie nerd I know. I scan all the movie sites daily for what's going on and thought I share some cool stuff that will be coming out that you may not have heard of yet.
G-Force
July 24, 2009
Biggest movie of the year. And why? Because it stars guinea pigs!!!! This animated movie stars a group of piggies that are a fighting force that the Seals would be envious of. These little spies could teach Bond some tricks. Starring the voice of Sam Rockwell, Bill Nighy, Nicolas Cage, Tracey Morgan and others - this is going to be a must see even for adults! Rated PG.

2012
November 13, 2009
This is a huge disaster film. Epic. Think Independence Day on steroids. If it's half as good as the trailer it's going to kick some major butt. Of course it's about the Mayan end of the year calendar. Personally I don't believe that date is the actual end of the world, just a major change and beginning of something new but not on a disaster level. But this will make for some good entertainment. Stars John Cusack, Chiwetel Eijofor, Oliver Platt, Danny Glover, Woody Harrelson. Not yet rated.

Sherlock Holmes
December 25, 2009
Big adventure/mystery movie starting Holmes and Watson. This is a new Holmes. Kick ass, charming and funny. Watson is equally a strong character as they move through the movie to battle a new bad guy. Some are saying it's going to be a Christmas Day turd, but I think it might be a big hit. Stars too hot for film Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Also Rachel McAdams who I think sucks as an actress. Not yet rated.

Clash of the Titans
March 26, 2010
Remake of the original classic. Perseus is off to battle Hades from taking Zeus's power. There's no trailer yet. It's been awhile since we've had a good mythology movie so I'm hoping to see a great storyline with some great special effects. Stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Mads Mikkelsen. Not rated yet, no website/trailer.
Robin Hood
May 14, 2010
This movie has been getting a lot of press due to the diva behavior of star Russell Crowe. The movie follows Robin as an abandoned child and how he grows up. It also stars Cate Blanchett as Marion. Hopefully this will be a good solid movie! I loved the one with Kevin Costner. Not rated yet, no website/trailer.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
May 28, 2010
In the first group of possible big summer blockbusters. This movie is based on a popular video game. Should be lots of swordfighting adventure and special effects. Stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Alfred Molina, Ben Kingsley. Not rated yet, no trailer/website yet.
That's it for now. I'll update again when some new stuff comes up. Enjoy the next several months of movies!!
