So I was driving home and my phone just rang. It was a lady about an hour and a half away, who was referred to my by a very widely used farrier in the area who was no longer accepting new clients for trims. He is extremely good, and I have heard nothing but good things about him. I wasnt going to take her on, since she was pretty far out, but then she explained to me that all her neighbors wanted to get together for 'trim day' with TEN horses!! This is a very huge thing for me, since I have been doing my own horses and a handful of my faithful clients since London was born, since my c section was such long recovery!
She went on to tell me that she also called a vet in the area who the farrier gave her as a reference for ME! I guess the vet really liked my work he saw on a few rescues I fixed up over the last few months, and the vet and the other farrier both really recommend my work!!!!
I feel extremely flattered, and it is just SO nice to be validated. I know I do good work, but it was VERY nice to have another professional talk so highly of me!!!
