There's no blood, but I'd say it's a little graphic. There's a link to a video at the bottom, but I didn't watch it. That's sick and disgusting. Why can't PETA do something useful for a change and protest that?

I definatly agree. In no way do I find that entertaining. I don't know how people can actualy call that entertainment and enjoy watching that. Those poor horses.

The same kind of people that call dog fighting entertaining right here in the US. :whack:

That's not in the United States, though, traditions, sports, cultures, etc. is all very different in other countries. It's not up to us to decide what they can and can't do. Is it unfortunate? To me, yes, horse fighting is unfortunate, but we shouldn't have say in another country's sport. That's mah two cents. =P

See, I agree with you, Caitlin, and yes, I am biased with this because I love horses, but still, I think thats cruel to animals, not just to horses. Making one animal cause pain to another just isn't right in my opinion and I think its very wrong.

Peta IS fighting this:
Thanks for pointing that out. I mean they should be fighting this instead of asking for things like Big Brown being gelded (which I agree with, but it's impossible) or using breast milk instead of cow milk.

That made me sick to my stomach... not because it was graphic, even in the video, but because it is stomach-turning to think of people doing this. Dog-fight, cock-fight, or horse-fight, it is all wrong.

It is wrong, but considering how much filth, abuse and other nasty stuff happening in a country that poor, it's pale in comparison. My family just adopted a boy from the philippines. His mother tried and failed to kill him many times as a child. He has knife marks(scars) in his side... He was homeless and living in a garbage dump for most of his life. It's sad.
When we asked him about horse fighting he shrugged. Their country is not as cultured as ours. If you want to end horse fighting you need to help educate the country. Complaining and PETA aren't helping.

Not so much not cultured, just not our culture. Obviously it's not a good thing, but try telling them that.
Don't forget PETA is an interest group in politics either, Horserider. They pull political stunts to try to get what they want, and many times the real issues are looked over for more media attention. (the breast milk and the donkeys in my town are two examples) As much as PETA has helped, they've also looked over and hindered.

That's stupid! Because when they do finally protest something that should be stopped no one takes them seriously! They just see them as being radical and illogical.

That's stupid!
That's politics! :D (I tried to make a funny, anyways)
In all seriousness though, PETA is a semi-powerful political group. Usually when they get into something that should be taken care of, it gets taken care of. Of course by that point it's usually obvious to everyone around, and the people just need someone to step forward about it. They do have some silly protests and belifs though, I'll give them that.
