Here's a little riddle for you. Yes I came up with this myself. I'm like that when I'm bored. :)

Here it is:

If the best things in life are free and everything comes with a price, does that mean the best things in life don't exist?

Those first two parts are quotes that just don't fit together. What do ya think? :p

That's why I don't like quotes like that, I think it's all a matter of opinion on what the best things in life are and how much they cost, it's up to the individual and their preferences, lol.

It's a very astute (smart) observation on your part. That's an excellent riddle.

The answer is false.

If you excepted something for free that was of value , that means you are willing to except the value.
The question then is whether the value of something free is valued as much as something that you earned ?
And that appreciation value is based on the individual.

This old saying applies to this question. "Whoever said money can't buy happiness, didn't know where to shop".:cowboy:

something is gained from every experience no matter where at on your personal scale of bestness

both statements are very true to me and make perfect sense together, because to me the best things in life are very clear, the love of family, the ride on a good horse, the sense of accomplishment you get when buying your first new vehicle or house... the point is these things are some of the best things in life and they are free... the family will cost you money, the horse will cost you money, the house and truck will cost you money, but the love the family gives and the feeling that being in the saddle gives you and even that sense of accomplishment doesn't cost you a dime.

God i hope that makes some kind of sense

Here I thought when a (?) question mark at the end of a statement means its question , but not a statement.
