Help me find a show shirt!

[Blue]

I can't decide what color show shirt I want (for hunters). I have fair skin and red/brown hair. Blue is a chestnut with blue eyes. I'm thinking I should go with a pastelish blue one, but there are so many colors I don't know! I've seen purple, green, yellow, blue, pink, etc. I think I'm getting a new coat too, so whatever color I get I can probably get one of those jackets that have the little stripes in the same color...if that makes sense. :p Thanks!

The coat is usually the more expensive purchase. I would recomend finding a good coat that you like and that fits well, and then purchasing a shirt that complements the coat and the horse. You can usually get an extra shirt or two in other colors so you have options and backups in case of accedents/emergencies/horsie kisses!

A nice Ice blue or minty green would look awesome! What color are your eyes?

for a shirt a light blue pinstripe on white would look nice or a lavandar plaid
for a jacket i would go with a navy or black coat b/c of the versatility, with a very muted and not highly visible pinstripe if you want something with a little pattern

Thanks guys! I'll be sure to find a good coat first, I think I want the blue though...but if it doesn't match oh well. :) Blue or lavendar I think.

Definitely purchase the coat first....maybe blue and a pastel blue shirt? When I showed I purchased a gray pinstripe coat and it went with blue, yellow or pink shirts very well.

Laurel has a blue shirt for show jumping........her hunter coat is grey with fine pinstripes of blue and lavender.
Dover is having a good sale right now, but it always helps to check out eBay too......

I agree find the coat first :) there are plenty of them out there that have pale pin strips
I do like the idea of a soft blue.
My coat has a rose and lavender strip with a base color of navy blue so I have a lavender shirt.
